The Marathon Atomic Clock is a self-adjusting timepiece that eliminates manual time and date input. By inserting the provided batteries, it synchronizes with the atomic clock in Colorado. It includes all 8 North American time zones and is suitable for continental North America and Hawaii.

The clock offers Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic, Newfoundland, Alaska, and Hawaii standard time options. For users outside of North America and Hawaii, the time and date can be manually set. It can be wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop using the fold-out stand. With split-second accuracy, it displays time in AM/PM or 24-hour format, along with the month, weekday, date, and indoor room temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
